Catherine Anne
Catherine Anne O'Hara OC (born March 4th, 1954)is a Canadian-American actress, comedian, and writer. O'Hara is the proud winner of numerous prizes that include a Genie Award. In 2018, she was elected an Officer of Canada. She was also awarded the Governor General’s Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement Medal in 2020. O'Hara first drew notice as an actor in the year 1974, as an actor in The Second City improvisational comedy troupe in Toronto. She was a part of the principal cast on the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978) along with John Candy and Dan Aykroyd. O'Hara as well as Candy began work in Second City Television's sketch comedy series (1976-1984). O'Hara won the Primetime Emmy Award in 1981 for Outstanding Writing for Variety Series. O'Hara was a member of the brand-new Second City artistic Advisory Board, which was led by Stephen Colbert. Other members of the board included Dwayne Colbert. Tina Fey. Keegan–Michael Key.
